Engaging SMEs via Accountants
In a recently completed trial conducted for Oxfordshire County Council by the UK Climate Impacts Programme, accountants (viewed by SMEs as trusted advisors) were trained to use a business climate resilience “health-check” tool with their SME clients. The accountants found it a useful way of engaging with their clients. The clients did too—half said they would pay for the service. Read the full project report here.
