UK Businesses Not Adapting
An Ipsos MORI poll conducted for Defra found that only 23 percent of businesses surveyed had begun to take action to address the threats or opportunities presented by climate change. This despite three quarters of businesses claiming to be concerned about the effects of climate change on the UK, and about a third having been “significantly affected” in the past three years by extreme weather.
